Purpose of the Role\n- Implement changes to enhance the process capability.\n- To eliminate the process of losses on equipment or Areas and to drive standards and problem-solving process.\n- Co-ordinate with the technical center and Key learning Plant to solve problems and upgrade the process.\n- Ensure that the projects identified in the plant are achieved to their objectives in a logical manner.\n- Systematic Problem-solving techniques are implemented.\n- Participate in Continual Improvement activities.\n- Support Shop floor Technical and Quality improvement projects.\n- Managing Bekaert Quality procedures, Methods, SOPs, Process specs, Control on Specs, Intellectual documents.\nII. Roles and Responsibilities\nSpecifying and defining the process and the product specification.\nMaintain process control charts, machine setting document, sop’s etc.\nRegular follow-up with technology center for the updating of product and process specification.\nCo-ordination with Global process owner on the improvement projects.\nData collection and analysis.\nMonitoring and controlling plant overall processability.\nWeekly and monthly process ability analysis.\nControl of consumable cost\nDesign a system to effectively formulate data, to give better control on the process there by reducing waste.\nPerform RI analysis for repetitive problems through systematic problem-solving techniques.\nMake decisions to make variations in the process with the objective of improving the process’s stability\nCheck all the overall parameters and improve processes stability.\nOnline process control and problem solving.\nIdentifying critical parameters for process.\nFollow and define critical parameters in the process.\nSteer the process depending upon the process related problem\nFollow up of corrective action and its effectiveness\nTechnical training program.\nNew employee training co-ordination and evaluation.\nKeep the basic training documents update with ref. to the existing process and Machinery.\nKeep up with latest training modes.\nArranging the Refresher training for Existing employees.\nDocumentation and control.\nUpdating the Documents from Shop floor with latest changes.\nDevelop and authorize the PFD, FMEA and CP needed for different processes.\nCustomer specific requirement implementation on shop floor.\nCustomer support.\nCustomer complaint analysis and 8D report and action follow up from BIPL and other Bekaert plant.\nConduct joint development programs with customer.\nBe involved in the corporation development program worked out with the customer as and when required.\nHalf Product quality monitoring.\nFollow-up of raw material processability and effective disposals action at our end.\nNew machine installation and troubleshooting, New Product Introduction.\nResponsible for making the prototype of any new product to be introduced in.\nThe role of refinement of the process will continue till the product passes through the different stages of approval from the customer.\nIII.
