The role is based in Dubai UAE and focuses on influencing project specifications, supporting regulatory approvals and certifications, and coordinating technical solutions with internal and external stakeholders to maximize project conversion opportunities. He will report to ASM / Head of Infrastructure Middle East.\nKey Activities and Responsibilities\nPromote Bekaert steel fiber solutions to consultants, designers, owners, and engineering firms during conceptual and detailed design phases.\nSecure inclusion of Bekaert products and performance-based specifications in project tender documents.\nIdentify and track upcoming infrastructure, tunnelling, transportation, ports, industrial, and precast projects.\nCoordinate with Bekaert technical teams to develop optimized steel fiber design solutions approved by authorities.\nSupport structural design reviews, value engineering exercises, and technical comparisons against conventional reinforcement.\nSupport precast manufacturers and consultants in implementing steel fiber reinforced concrete solutions.\nLead and support product approvals, certifications, and compliance activities with local authorities and regulatory bodies.\nCoordinate certification processes with municipalities, transport authorities, and standards organizations.\nPrepare technical documentation required for approvals and certification renewals.\nConduct technical presentations, seminars, workshops, and training sessions.\nMaintain a pipeline of specification opportunities and monitor project conversion potential.\nResponsible for specification target to be agreed with line manager.\nQualifications & Experience\nBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related discipline. Master’s degree in engineering science / fiber technology is preferred.\nExperience in infrastructure, tunnelling, precast, construction materials, structural design, or specification engineering.\nKnowledge of Eurocode, fib Model Code, ACI, and BS EN standards is preferred\nLocally presented is mandatory.\nWell known profile for Ready mix suppliers / local laboratories.\nExcellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.\nWillingness to travel across the Middle East with 50 % travel percentage.\nKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)\nNumber of projects specified with Bekaert solutions.\nVolume of opportunities generated through specification activities.\nSuccessful product approvals and certification achievements.\nNumber of consultant and authority engagements conducted.\nConversion rate of specified projects into awarded business.\nGrowth of steel fiber adoption in targeted infrastructure and precast segments.\nBe bold and take the leap!\nWe're looking for individuals who are not afraid to take risks and explore new ideas.
