You'll take ownership of EPC contract strategy and management across our portfolio of solar PV and battery storage projects, playing a pivotal role in delivering major renewable energy developments across the UK.\nTaking the lead within Belectric UK project teams for development and management of EPC contracts and associated supply or service subcontracts.\nSupporting sales and project teams with contract management capability and understanding. \nApplying a robust contracting strategy to ensure projects are delivered to high quality, on time and within budget.\nPreparing, reviewing, negotiating and managing contracts regarding all requirements and obligations of an EPC project including scope, timeline, costs, communication and documentation\nManaging amendments, variations and claims including identification and evaluation of project events and project facts\nSupporting project teams in all contractual matters including risk management, contractual disputes/escalations, and claims as well as contractual communication. \nDeveloping and maintaining standards and processes for contract management across EPC projects including KPIs to monitor performance.\nDeveloping and maintaining strong working relationships with customers, key suppliers and key internal teams including sales, procurement, engineering, commercial, project management and legal.\nYour profile\nExtensive relevant professional experience in contract and claim Management in mid to large scale construction projects.\nStrong understanding of contract and project matters in an EPC environment\nPrevious experience of managing contractual issues from escalation, claims disputes, mediation and through to resolution.\nExperience of negotiating agreements with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors\nComfortable with working with bespoke contracts for different clients\nDegree in relevant engineering, commercial or legal discipline\nConfident in developing strong working relationships with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors and internally.\nExcellent communicator, fluent in English\nComfortable with travel and overnight stays - 5-10% of the time\nWho we are\nBELECTRIC Solar Ltd. was established in the UK in 2010 and has grown to become one of the leading system integrators as well as EPC and O&M service providers in the United Kingdom.
