Responsibilities include: Product architecture, detail design, team leadership and technical relationships with customers and Belkin product managers. Maintaining schedules and cost objectives are primary responsibilities.\nSpecific responsibilities include:\nWork as a team leader and/or individual contributor to design and develop cutting-edge products.\nWork closely with industrial designers, mechanical engineers, software engineers, product managers, vendors and manufacturing to insure successful project coordination and integration.\nCreate advanced electronic circuit designs and create innovative and robust solutions to problems.\nResponsible for electrical design, schematic entry, PCB design layout, prototype testing & debug, documentation and engineering release for production.\nTake a leadership role in affecting the convergence of design approaches.\nUnderstand EMC design principles and design products for compliance with agency approvals (FCC, CE, UL, USB, etc.)\nExperience with wireless charging and battery product design preferred.\nAssist with product definition and specifications.\nUpdate Windchill and Agile with project assets.\nImplement designs using wireless standards such as WIFI and Bluetooth.\nCreate schematics and PCB layouts with Altium.\nUse AI tools for research and acceleration of design activities.\nMonitor and meet project schedules and cost objectives.\nImplement products consistent with their product definition.\nResearch new technologies for upcoming projects.\nCreate and update status reports.\nCoordinate and be a technical liaison with third party resources.\nMaintain advanced understanding of relevant technology specifications.\nPerform all other duties as assigned and required.\nEducation and Experience Requirements:\nFour years bachelor’s degree in EE or equivalent work experience.\n8+ years electrical design in new product development, consumer electronics design experience preferred.\nPower supply, analog and digital design experience.\nExperience with EMI testing and shielding in the RF range.\nExperience in designing PCBs to minimize EMI and Wifi/Bluetooth and GSM de-sense.\nExperience in analyzing complete systems for EMI and Wifi/Bluetooth and GSM de-sense.\nOutstanding interpersonal and leadership skills.\nProven analytical problem-solving ability.\nAdvanced Schematic and PCB layout experience, Altium Designer experience preferred.\nExperience with PLD and PLM systems for documentation control.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nWhat you’re getting into\nWe’ve got big collaborative spaces for your big ideas, so bring an open mind and leave your suit in the closet.
