Building the infrastructure behind Canada's AI future.\nSummary\nWe are seeking a highly experienced Director, Operations to lead our Regina AI Data Centre, ensuring the safe, secure, and reliable operation of one of Canada's most advanced AI computing facilities.\nReporting to the senior AI Fabric Operations leadership team, the Director is accountable for all aspects of site operations, including critical facility infrastructure, customer service delivery, security, maintenance, regulatory compliance, operational governance, vendor management, workforce leadership, and financial performance. This role will serve as the senior operational authority for the Regina campus and play a key role in delivering industry-leading service reliability and customer experience.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead all day-to-day operations of a 24x7 mission-critical data centre environment.\nEnsure operational excellence across electrical, mechanical, cooling, backup power, security, and building systems.\nDrive safety, compliance, operational readiness, risk management, and governance programs.\nDevelop and lead high-performing operations teams while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.\nManage customer relationships, service delivery commitments, operational reviews, and executive escalations.\nOversee maintenance programs, incident response, change management, and business continuity planning.\nLead vendor performance, contract compliance, and strategic supplier management initiatives.\nManage operating budgets, lifecycle planning, and cost optimization initiatives.\nSupport commissioning, growth, and expansion activities across the Regina campus.\nCritical Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Facilities Management, Operations Management, or a related discipline.\n15+ years of progressive leadership experience within data centres, telecommunications, utility operations, industrial facilities, or other mission-critical environments.\nDemonstrated experience leading large-scale critical infrastructure operations.\nStrong knowledge of power distribution systems, generators, UPS systems, cooling infrastructure, building automation systems, reliability programs, and operational risk management.\nProven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and external service providers.\nExceptional leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.\nProfessional Engineering designation (P.Eng.) considered an asset.\nPreferred Experience\nHyperscale data centre operations.\nAI, cloud, or colocation environments.\nCritical facilities commissioning and operational readiness programs.\nPhysical security technologies including enterprise access control and integrated security platforms.\nCustomer-facing operations with enterprise or hyperscale clients.\nWhat's in it for you?\nLead one of Canada's flagship AI infrastructure facilities.\nInfluence the operational strategy of Bell's rapidly growing AI Fabric platform.\nWork alongside industry-leading experts in critical infrastructure and hyperscale operations.\nCompetitive compensation package, incentive program, comprehensive benefits, and career development opportunities.\nBe part of a team building the foundation for Canada's AI economy.\nAdequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.\nAdditional Information:\nPosition Type: Management\nJob Status: Regular - Full Time\nJob Location: Canada : Saskatchewan : Regina\nWork Arrangement: Hybrid\nApplication Deadline: 09/30/2026\nFor work arrangements that are ‘Hybrid’, successful candidates must be based in Canada and report to a set Bell office for a minimum of 3 days a week.
