Continuously improving programs, training, and engagement with our Janitorial/Laundry team members. The Janitorial Supervisor oversees and coordinates activities with individuals involved in the Janitorial process in our facility. Investing in our team members’ development on all levels through relevant job training, empowerment, and engagement as well as continuously improving our facilities and equipment through research and technology to support our expanding needs.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Other duties may be assigned.\nJanitorial leadership positions will oversee janitorial team members across all Bell & Evans facilities. The supervisor will train, coach, and cover disciplinary actions with team members. Ability to follow and enforce Company policies, and procedures and enforce safe working practices. Takes a proactive approach to problem-solving when issues arise. Ensure team members have the proper tools needed to perform job duties safely and efficiently. Creates a positive workplace environment. Observing the department to ensure all tasks are completed up to the Bell and Evans standards.\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nCommunication-Collaboration (production to operations)- a collaboration among cross-functional plant teams (Plant 1-Plant 2-Plant 3-Wellness Center) in issue resolution.\nPromotes excellent company relations in maintaining a high level of team morale. \nEffectively communicate with the team members in Daily Huddles for team engagement.\nTake a proactive approach to safeguarding a safe working environment and performing regular safety training, daily stretches with the team and monitoring to ensure team members are safe.\nDemonstrated ability to efficiently select, train, and manage staff to fulfill department objectives.\nPerformance objectives setting goals, developing processes, and providing guidance and support through their professional journey.\nDevelopment and Training of Staff\nImplementation of SSOP’s and KPI’s.\nSupport the team in ensuring cleanliness standards meet plant requirements.\nAdvanced problem-solving and critical thinking skills to manage the situation(s) to make versed decisions based on product safety and quality.\nEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:\nAssociate degree or a combination of three to five years as Supervisor of Sanitation and or Janitorial required. \nExperience in direct supervision preferred.\nAbility to communicate with all levels of the organization.\nProficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
