Including working with live chicken or raw chicken. Tasks include but are not limited to handling and processing chicken products, deboning, cutting, packing, weighing, moving, inspecting, etc. In all positions, other duties by supervision as needed.\nEssential Functions: Bird Injection\nEnsure pallet jack is clean from prior shift. Complete pre-operation inspection of equipment.\nWeigh product on floor scale and print label.\nUse stretch wrap to secure product on pallet.\nMove product to storage or shipping areas.\nStock lines with required PPE and hand washing products.\nComplete temperature checks throughout the manufacturing area.\nVerify product seals are correct and match the production screens.\nOperate and maintain basic production equipment.\nLockout-tagout certified and follow all lockout-tagout parameters. \nInspect/calibrate all equipment before use and between each breakdown.\nCoordinate with leads to follow production schedules to make the correct WIP. \nFollow each product mix based off recipes. \nCalculate the correct weights by ingredient to achieve correct product mix.\nEnsure all ingredients are under the correct co-date/meet all QA requirements for temperature and consistency.\nWork with QA to obtain correct water/phage mix.\nAble to use safety scissors/knife to open necessary ingredients.\nOperate scale and ensure all finished buggy/bin are labeled and covered. \nMove/Store finished buggy/bin in designated areas or to production line.\nActively look for downgrades, contamination, or foreign material and report as needed.\nAlthough typically assigned to a single department, production and staffing needs will dictate periodic changes. All applicants must be willing and able to work in other departments and positions as needed and assigned.\nWilling to work in a variety of conditions, hot, cold, wet, and noisy.\nWilling and able to work around industrial equipment, stand for several hours, lift/push/pull up to 40 pounds, repetitive use of the arms, wrists, and hands.\nEducation and Experience:\nPrevious poultry production experience OR previous experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred.\n\nLanguage SkillS:\nAbility to read and interpret documents in English or Spanish, such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals.
