This position performs a variety of duties involved in the processing and handling of poultry products, including working with live chickens and raw chicken.\nResponsibilities may include handling, processing, deboning, cutting, packing, weighing, moving, and inspecting poultry products while following established safety, quality, and production standards.\nEmployees may be assigned to different departments or positions based on production and staffing needs.\nEssential Functions\nPerform a variety of poultry processing duties in accordance with established safety, quality, and production standards.\nHandle and inspect poultry products to ensure they meet company quality requirements.\nPerform tasks such as cutting, deboning, packing, weighing, moving, and processing poultry products.\nWork with live poultry and/or raw poultry products, depending on department assignment.\nMaintain required production speeds while following all safety and quality procedures.\nBe willing and able to work in different departments and positions as assigned based on operational and staffing needs.\nWork effectively in a variety of environmental conditions, including hot, cold, wet, and noisy areas.\nSafely work around industrial equipment and follow all applicable safety procedures.\nStand and perform physical activities for extended periods.\nFrequently and repetitively use the arms, wrists, and hands.\nLift, push, and/or pull materials weighing up to 40 pounds.\nPerform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervision.\nWork Environment & Physical Requirements\nThis is a physically active position in a poultry processing environment.
