Responsibilities may include product handling, inspection, processing, packing, weighing, moving, and other production-related tasks.\nTeam members are expected to follow all company standards for safety, quality, productivity, and food safety while completing assigned duties. Other responsibilities may be assigned by supervision as needed.\nEssential Functions\nPerform a variety of poultry processing duties in accordance with established safety, quality, and production standards.\nHandle and inspect poultry products to ensure they meet established quality requirements.\nFollow all food safety, sanitation, and company procedures while performing assigned tasks.\nWork efficiently to meet established production speeds and department goals.\nMaintain a clean and safe work environment.\nFollow instructions from supervisors and department leadership.\nBe willing and able to work in other departments or positions as needed based on production and staffing requirements.\nWork effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.\nWork in a variety of environmental conditions, including hot, cold, wet, and noisy areas.\nSafely work around industrial equipment and follow all applicable safety procedures.\nStand for extended periods and perform repetitive movements involving the arms, wrists, and hands.\nLift, push, and/or pull materials weighing up to 40 pounds.\nPerform other duties as assigned by supervision.\nEducation and Experience\nPrevious poultry production or food manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.\nAbility to follow written and verbal instructions.\nAbility to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.\nWillingness to learn and perform various production duties.\nWork Environment & Physical Requirements\nThis position requires employees to work in a production environment that may include hot, cold, wet, and noisy conditions.
