This position offers a balanced workload between backend development using .NET / C# and frontend development with React / Next.js / TypeScript, with a strong applied AI component: you will build AI-powered features, agents, plugins, skills and MCP servers on top of our data, and use agentic coding tools such as Claude Code and GitHub Copilot to design, build and ship software faster. The ideal candidate has practical knowledge of backend and frontend technologies, hands-on experience building with LLMs, and a willingness to learn while contributing to our mission of delivering high-quality, trustworthy web applications.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign and develop scalable applications, APIs, and microservices while working with databases.\nBuild responsive and interactive user interfaces while implementing state management solutions, including conversational and agent-driven experiences.\nImplement data access solutions, design database schemas, and write optimized queries.\nDevelop business intelligence solutions including scorecards, dashboards, and web tools for service, productivity, fleet and customer experience.\nImplement solutions to guarantee data quality (availability and reliability) and follow defined documentation standards.\nWrite clean, secure, efficient code with proper documentation while ensuring security and performance best practices.\nDesign, build and deploy AI agents and agentic workflows (tool use, multi-step orchestration, human-in-the-loop) that automate analysis, reporting and operational tasks.\nDevelop multi-agent systems on Google Cloud using the Agent Development Kit (ADK), and deploy, scale and monitor them on Google Agent Runtime with proper session, memory, identity and access management.\nDevelop reusable plugins, skills and MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers that securely expose our data, APIs and internal tools to AI agents.\nIntegrate LLM APIs (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI / Azure OpenAI, Google Vertex AI) into applications, including prompt engineering, structured outputs, function calling and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) over enterprise data.\nConfigure and govern AI coding harnesses such as Claude Code and GitHub Copilot (instruction files, custom commands, subagents, hooks, MCP integrations) and coach the team on effective agentic development practices.\nEvaluate and monitor AI features (test sets, quality, cost and latency tracking) and apply guardrails and responsible-AI practices.\nParticipate in all phases of the software development lifecycle while collaborating with design and product teams.\nContinuously expand technical knowledge through training while performing code reviews.\nSupport the Power BI team with deployment requests.\nCritical Qualifications\n2-3 years of experience in a related field.\nUniversity or College degree in computer sciences\nProficiency with TypeScript and C#.\nExperience with .NET development (ASP.NET Core).\nExperience with React, Next.js and modern JavaScript.\nExperience designing and developing RESTful APIs, including proper endpoint structure, HTTP methods, and authentication protocols\nSolid understanding of web fundamentals (HTTP, REST, HTML, CSS, etc).\nExperience with SQL and NoSQL databases.\nGit version control and collaborative development workflows.\nFamiliarity with agile development methodologies.\nHands-on experience working with AI coding agents such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar tools is required, including customization (instruction files, commands, subagents, MCP).\nHands-on experience building with LLM APIs (Claude, OpenAI or similar), including prompt engineering and tool/function calling.\nExperience building agents, plugins, skills or MCP servers (professional, personal or open-source projects), ideally on Google Cloud with ADK (Agent Development Kit) and Google Agent Runtime.\nStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\nSeeking a passionate developer with an insatiable curiosity, demonstrated ability to independently master new technologies, and enthusiasm for tackling complex challenges that push the boundaries of their skillset.\nFrench and English, working ability to carry out normal business in the language communication.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with Python.\nExperience with RAG architectures, embeddings and vector search.\nExperience with agent frameworks and SDKs (Google ADK, Claude Agent SDK, Semantic Kernel, LangGraph or similar).\nExperience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and deploying agents on Google Agent Runtime.\nExperience with DevOps pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).\nCI/CD implementation experience.\nPerformance optimization techniques for web applications.\nStandard work schedule\nAdequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.\nAdditional Information:\nPosition Type: Management\nJob Status: Regular - Full Time\nJob Location: Canada : Quebec : Montreal\nWork Arrangement: Hybrid\nApplication Deadline: 10/28/2026\nFor work arrangements that are ‘Hybrid’, successful candidates must be based in Canada and report to a set Bell office for a minimum of 3 days a week.
