You’ll work collaboratively with a team of professionals, managing the performance and risk profile of Bell, balancing the needs of customers, investors and team members with long-term business success.\nSummary\nThe Finance Team manages Bell’s financial performance and risk profile, helping balance the needs of customers, investors, and employees while supporting the company’s long-term success. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, the team develops and executes strategies that drive financial sustainability and business growth.\nAs part of the Finance organization, the BCE Tax Group oversees all tax matters for the BCE/Bell group of companies in Canada and internationally. This includes income tax, indirect taxes, withholding taxes, customs duties, and other tax-related obligations. The team plays a key advisory role across the organization, partnering with Legal, Treasury, M&A, Operations, and other business units on strategic initiatives, tax planning, compliance, audits, and complex business transactions.\nKey Responsibilities\nThe successful candidate will be responsible and accountable for the following:\nReview of the monthly, quarterly and year-end tax provision of Canadian corporations;\nPrepare of annual true-up entries for Canadian corporations;\nPrepare and documentation of corporate tax returns and partnership information returns, and other tax documents for Canadian corporations and partnerships (eg: tax elections, disclosures, W-8, etc)\nPrepare the monthly tax installments of Canadian corporations;\nManage government audits of Canadian corporations, including answering queries and drafting memos in support of tax positions;\nReview agreements and provide guidance on the applicability of withholding taxes;\nProvide guidance on HR related tax matters;\nPerform research on tax issues and prepare/review memos in support of tax positions;\nCompute the adjusted cost base on foreign legal entities;\nAssist the Tax Director or VP Taxation in special projects, as required\nCritical Qualifications\nUniversity degree with professional accounting designation or lawyer title with strong accounting skills;\nMaster’s Degree in tax or CICA In-Depth tax course I and II completed (or equivalent);\nMinimum of 5 years of relevant corporate tax experience;\nStrong tax accounting knowledge;\nSolid organizational and interpersonal skills;\nBilingual is a strong asset (English, French);\nComputer literate (Microsoft office, Taxprep);\nKnowledge of SAP, Alteryx and AI tools is an asset\nAdequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.\nAdditional Information:\nPosition Type: Management\nJob Status: Regular - Full Time\nJob Location: Canada : Ontario : Toronto || Canada : Quebec : Montreal\nWork Arrangement: Hybrid\nApplication Deadline: 10/28/2026\nFor work arrangements that are ‘Hybrid’, successful candidates must be based in Canada and report to a set Bell office for a minimum of 3 days a week.
