You will be part of a talented team of engineers that demonstrate superb technical competency, delivering mission critical infrastructure and ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance and security.\nThe Senior Network Engineer will work on site & lead customer network and system engineering functions to maintain, modify, and enhance customer network capabilities and services.\nThe Senior Network Engineer will be responsible to sustain existing network standards, equipment, and designs and identify and engineer beneficial upgrades, modifications, and technology insertions. Duties And Responsibilities\n Responsibilities:\nNetwork Engineer with 10-12 years of experience \nAbility to work independently and in team environments \nDeveloping strategic project / work plans and working in large and small environments \nInstalling, configuring and managing network switches, routers and firewalls (versed in OSPF , MPLS, SDN,and network monitoring)\nWork with vendors and other engineers to assess and understand technologies and develop proposed beneficial technical solutions for customer's environment. \nDefine trade spaces for network hardware (routers / switches, WAN optimization, software-defined network, etc.)\nDevelop and enforce security standards for networking equipment.\nLead validation trials of platform / service designs.\nAssist deployment and operation of new technology platform / services \nDevelop and maintain a network technology road map and be prepared to detail recommended hardware and software expenditures on short notice.\nManage project schedules and aid quick identification and resolution of technical challenges and obstacles to keep projects on schedule.\nPerform independent research and report on findings.\nWork collaboratively in a dynamic team environment and lead continuous improvement initiatives.\nMaintain configuration management control in accordance with defined standards, policies, and industry best practices.\nMinimum Other Required Experience:\n4 years direct experience required in the management and administration of network infrastructure routers, switches, etc. in a high-availability infrastructure\n4+ experience with layer 2 network protocols switching, including but not limited to: 802.1Q tagging, STP (and its variations), LACP, etc.\n4+ years of experience with layer 3 network routing, including but not limited to: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, IS-IS\n4+ years of layer 4 IP protocol suites (TCP, UDP, ICMP, GRE, etc.)\n4+ years of experience with access technologies such as LDAP, AD, RADIUS, TACACS/ISE\nExpert knowledge of TCP/IP and associated routing protocols such as (M)BGP, OSPF, etc\nExtensive knowledge of data center technologies, infrastructure and methodologies\nCisco Operating Systems such as IOS and/or NX-OS\nStrong Verbal and Written Communication skills\nStrong organizational / coordination skills\nProven project planning and management experience.\nAbility to conduct research into emerging technologies and trends, standards, and products as required.\nRequire US Citizen & No
