Depending on your assigned department, you may work with live poultry or raw chicken products and perform a variety of tasks, including processing, deboning, cutting, packing, weighing, labeling, inspecting, and moving poultry products.\nWhile you may typically be assigned to one department, production and staffing needs may require you to work in different departments or positions. Flexibility and a willingness to learn are important to success in this role.\nWhat You'll Do\nSafely handle and process poultry products.\nUse equipment to sort, weigh, and label poultry products.\nFold liners and ensure trays are properly and securely closed.\nOperate automated equipment or manually palletize trays.\nInspect products to ensure they meet Bell & Evans' quality standards.\nPack, weigh, label, and move poultry products as assigned.\nFollow food safety, quality, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.\nMaintain required production speeds while prioritizing safety and quality.\nImmediately report safety, quality, or product concerns to your supervisor.\nWork in different departments and positions as production needs require.\nMaintain a clean and organized work area.\nFollow all company policies, procedures, and instructions.\nPerform other duties as assigned by supervision.\nWhat You Bring\nWe're looking for individuals who are:\nDependable and committed to consistent attendance.\nHardworking and willing to learn.\nSafety-conscious and attentive to detail.\nComfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.\nAble to work effectively as part of a team.\nFlexible and willing to work in different departments and positions.\nAble to follow instructions, policies, and procedures.\nCommitted to meeting safety, quality, and production expectations.\nPhysical & Work Environment\nThis is an active production position.
