running smoothly.\nWhat you'll own:\nPeople Operations & Employee Lifecycle\nOwn and continuously improve onboarding and offboarding processes.\nManage employee changes, documentation, personnel records, and other day-to-day People operations.\nServe as a go-to resource for employees on benefits, policies, leave, payroll-related questions, and general People matters.\nMaintain accurate employee data across our HR systems and ensure People processes run smoothly.\nPartner with Finance, Recruiting, Legal, and department leaders on employee-related needs.\nEmployee Experience & Culture\nHelp create an excellent employee experience from a person’s first day through their entire journey at Bellota.\nSupport company-wide People initiatives, employee communications, events, and engagement programs.\nIdentify friction in the employee experience and proactively improve it.\nHelp maintain a culture of high performance, accountability, transparency, and recognition.\nPerformance & Manager Support\nPartner with the Head of People on performance review cycles, employee feedback, promotions, and compensation processes.\nHelp managers navigate day-to-day People questions and employee situations.\nTrack and organize People data to identify trends and areas where teams may need additional support.\nSupport employee relations matters and documentation as needed.\nBenefits, Compliance & HR Administration\nSupport benefits administration, leaves of absence, workers’ compensation, and other HR programs.\nHelp ensure Bellota remains compliant with applicable federal and state employment requirements.\nMaintain People policies, employee documentation, and internal resources.\nCoordinate with outside vendors, benefits providers, and employment counsel when necessary.\nBuild & Improve\nHelp us build scalable People processes, not just maintain what’s already there.\nLook for opportunities to automate manual HR workflows and make our systems more efficient.\nCreate documentation and repeatable processes as Bellota continues to grow.\nOwn People projects from idea through execution.\nWhat you bring:\n3-5 years in people operations or HRIS administration\nWorking technical fluency: APIs and webhooks, Slack workflows, a low-code platform\nLLM tools in daily use\nPrecision under recurring deadlines and discretion with sensitive data\nNice to have:\nSHRM-CP or PHR\nRippling administrator certification\nPrior work in a lean People team during company growth\nExperience shipping automations that other people depend
