You will take ownership of the technical side of the projects you are assigned to, from design and development to deployment and support. Project allocation will be based on business requirements. You'll use AI-assisted development as a core part of how you work, and help build AI-powered features into the solutions we deliver.\n\nResponsibilities\nDesign system and solution architecture for projects\nBuild across frontend, backend, APIs and databases, using different tech stacks as the project needs\nWrite clean, maintainable, well-tested code and review code for quality\nUse AI coding tools (e.g. Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) to speed up development, while keeping code quality, security and review standards\nDesign and build AI-powered features using LLM APIs, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and agent-based workflows\nEvaluate and choose suitable AI models and services for each use case, balancing accuracy, latency and cost\nSet team practices for using AI tools responsibly, including prompt guidelines, code review of AI-generated code, and handling data privacy\nSet up and manage DevOps: CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, monitoring and security\nTurn business requirements into technical plans, estimates and delivery milestones\nRecommend suitable technologies and make build-vs-buy decisions for each project\nDesign and integrate APIs and third-party services\nOptimise application performance, scalability and cost\nTroubleshoot production issues and improve reliability\nMaintain technical documentation for architecture and deployments\n\nMust have Requirements\n5+ years in software development, with experience in a lead role\nDaily, hands-on use of AI coding tools as part of your development workflow\nExperience integrating LLM APIs (e.g. OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock) into production applications\nUnderstanding of RAG concepts: embeddings, chunking, vector search and retrieval quality\nProficiency in multiple tech stacks, e.g. React, Next.js, Node.js, NestJS\nExperience designing scalable systems and APIs (REST/GraphQL)\nSolid SQL/NoSQL database knowledge, including schema design and query optimisation\nHands-on Docker, CI/CD and cloud (AWS/Azure)\nGood understanding of application security, performance and testing practices\nAbility to learn new technologies quickly
