This role will provide support through the lifecycle of projects, which can be from pre-development to lease-up/stabilization. The equity portfolio is primarily focused on development projects located across the country and bridging product types including multifamily, student-housing, and mixed-use. The debt portfolio invests across senior, mezzanine and preferred equity investments, nationally, across all product types.\nCanyon Partners Real Estate is an established real estate investment platform headquartered in Dallas, Texas with over $4.4 billion AUM.\nKey Responsibilities\nFinancial Modeling:\nCreate, modify, and maintain financial models to include property/project level financial projections, debt financing, JV waterfalls and complex ad hoc analyses (budgets, reforecasts, sensitivities etc.);\nAsset Management:Support all efforts related to managing assets including return analysis, coordinating with JV partners, overseeing execution of business plans and supporting investor reporting;\nInvestment Materials:Support financial and investor reporting, and\nPrepare and deliver presentations to senior management and investors;\nMarketing/Client Group:Support marketing related initiatives and requests to support platform growth;\nProject Management and Capital Activity:Track investment performance,\nAnalyze and understand real estate documents (leases, contracts, etc.), JV Agreements, and loan agreements, and\nReview draws, process contributions/distributions and other capital activities.\n\nProfessional Experience\nA minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience;\nAsset Management, Development, or Acquisitions across major asset classes experience preferred; Client-facing experience preferred;\nExperience with advanced financial modeling;\nMastery in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and ARGUS Enterprise.\nEducation/Certification\nBachelor’s degree required\nEssential Skills & Competencies\nBellwether seeks to hire entrepreneurial individuals who are highly motivated, mature and intelligent, with demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors.
