As a Chef, you'll play a key role in creating meals that customers look forward to and experiences that bring people together.\nWorking as part of our hospitality team, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring every meal is nutritious, delicious and presented to the highest standard. From preparing daily menus to supporting special occasions and events, your contribution will help create memorable moments throughout the village.\nNo two days are the same. Whether you're preparing fresh seasonal dishes, accommodating individual dietary requirements or helping deliver a successful village event, you'll make a meaningful difference to the lives of our customers.\nWhat you will do\n· Prepare, cook and present high-quality meals using fresh ingredients.\n· Ensure food is consistently nutritious, appetising and attractively presented.\n· Support the smooth day-to-day running of the kitchen and catering services.\n· Maintain the highest standards of food hygiene, safety and cleanliness.\n· Cater for individual dietary, nutritional and allergen requirements.\n· Monitor stock levels and support effective stock control.\n· Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an outstanding customer experience.\n· Contribute to special events, celebrations and hospitality activities across the village.\n· Ensure compliance with food safety legislation and organisational policies.\n· Help create a welcoming dining environment that customers enjoy returning to.\nAbout you\nYou will be a skilled and enthusiastic Chef who takes pride in delivering excellent food and exceptional hospitality.\nPrevious experience working within a professional kitchen environment.\nKnowledge of food hygiene, food safety and allergen management.\nA passion for producing fresh, high-quality food.\nStrong organisational and time-management skills.\nAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.\nExcellent communication and customer service skills.\nA positive and flexible approach to work.\nUnderstanding of the important role food plays in health, wellbeing and quality of life.\nWhy choose Belong?\nOur approach puts relationships, dignity, independence and quality of life at the centre of everything we do.
