As we prepare to welcome colleagues, residents and families to our new Birkdale village, we're looking for a passionate and engaging In-House Trainer to help build a confident, capable and compassionate team.\nThis is an exciting opportunity to be part of something from the very beginning, helping to establish a positive learning culture and ensuring colleagues have the knowledge, skills and confidence to deliver the outstanding, person-centred support that Belong is known for.\nAbout the role\nAs our In-House Trainer, you'll play a key role in supporting the development of colleagues across Belong Birkdale.\nWorking closely with village leadership and our wider learning and development colleagues, you'll coordinate and deliver engaging training, support new starters through their induction and help colleagues continue developing throughout their careers.\nYou'll bring learning to life, making training practical, inclusive and relevant to the people delivering care and support every day.\nWhat you'll be doing\nDelivering engaging induction, mandatory and refresher training to colleagues across the village.\nSupporting colleagues with the Care Certificate and ongoing professional development.\nProviding practical coaching and guidance to embed safe, person-centred care.\nIdentifying learning needs alongside village managers and developing appropriate training solutions.\nMaintaining accurate training records and supporting compliance with organisational and regulatory requirements.\nSupporting new starters to feel welcomed, confident and prepared for their roles.\nEvaluating training effectiveness and helping translate learning into improved everyday practice.\nChampioning Belong's values and creating a culture where colleagues feel encouraged to learn, grow and succeed.\nWhy join Belong Birkdale?\nJoining Birkdale means more than stepping into a new role.
