Exchange protocol encoding/decoding experience is desirable. Additional experience developing hybrid hardware/software systems communicating over PCIe is also desirable. The successful candidate will direct their own learning, grow their expertise, and pass that knowledge on to other team members.\nWhat You'll Do:\nUse cutting-edge technology while working on high performance/low latency systems\n\nCollaborate with team members to investigate and create automated trading algorithms\n\nWork on high-performance computing systems to break speed and performance boundaries\n\nBuild next-generation algorithmic trading systems;\n\nSolve low-latency trading problems and optimization of performance-critical code;\n\nDevelop new hardware platforms;\n\nIdentifying opportunities for improvement and experimenting with performance optimizations;\n\nApply industry knowledge and technical skills in new and innovative ways\n\nHelp to continuously improve team productivity, code quality, tool, and technology adoption\n\nCreate new features and help improve existing experiences\n\nShare ideas, experience, and knowledge with other members of the team\n\nWhat You'll Need:\nDevelopment experience with FPGAs (Verilog/VHDL, functional verification, and static timing closure)\n\nDemonstrated experience with C++, Bash, TCL, and/or Python scripts\n\nExperience with FPGA design, simulation, and verification tools (Synopsys, Riviera, ModelSim, Questasim, etc.)\n\nA desire to push the boundaries on performance and lower latency\n\nPassion for innovation and building systems from the ground up\n\nDemonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment\n\nCareful attention to detail, and the vision and skill to push beyond
