This role works with direct salesmanship, and prompt and courteous service; completing transactions in a quick and efficient manner, minimizing delays to customers; developing thorough knowledge of all merchandize carried by Benchmade in the stores, catalogs and websites offering selection guidance to customers. This position will perform all other responsibilities as directed by the business or as assignment by management. \nThis position is a part-time role. Because the role supports operations during peak weekend periods, availability on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday is required.\nResponsibilities\nPerforms all functions relating to the handling of merchandize or cash in accordance with corporate policy in a timely and customer friendly manner\nAdministers all point of sale opening and closing procedures in accordance with corporate policy\nResolves all customer complaints in a manner consistent with company policy, and with customer satisfaction in mind\nResolve customer questions and concerns in a positive, helpful manner.\nParticipate regularly in product knowledge training and be able to communicate features and benefits to all customers\nBe an accountable face of the company to assist in meeting sales goals.\nAssist in maintaining a well-stocked and neat store appearance\nEnsures that all customers receive a receipts on all purchases\nWork as part of a team and contributes to the overall display and presentation efforts within the store environment, including stocking, replenishing merchandise, following visual merchandise guidelines, and general store housing keeping duties as assigned\nParticipate in physical inventory counts as required.\nQualifications\nA High School Diploma or GED equivalent, and 1-2 years of experience in a customer service role is required.
