# Analytics Engineer

The Analytics Engineer builds and supports the reporting, data preparation, and business solutions layer of the technology environments NextEra delivers to its clients. This role turns curated client data into reliable semantic models, reports, and practical solutions while supporting data cleanup, standardization, and governance across client systems. Reporting to the Director of Technology Architecture, this position owns a queue of small client projects and partners with client stakeholders across project management, operations, safety, HR/payroll, and accounting. The work is primarily technical, with some direct support for client users. Business Intelligence & Semantic Modeling Builds and maintains semantic models (dimensional design, DAX measures, configuration tables) on curated lakehouse data Develops reports and dashboards for client project management, operations, and safety audiences Designs clear, action-oriented visuals that users can interpret without training Maintains models in source control with consistent naming and documentation Submits model changes for Director review before production release Data Preparation & Quality Builds gold-layer tables for reporting u
