With that said, there are primary job responsibilities and measurements of success for this position, which are:\nQuality Systems & Compliance\nSupport and maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS).\nDevelop, review, and improve quality policies, procedures, plans, and forms.\nHelp establish practical quality processes that support rapid product development while maintaining compliance and reliability.\nAssist with internal and external audits and support corrective actions.\nEnsure compliance with applicable customer, regulatory, and industry requirements.\nMonitor and analyze quality metrics and recommend improvements to products and processes.\nProduct & Manufacturing Quality\nPartner with design and production engineers during product development, prototyping, and production.\nReview engineering drawings, specifications, and process documentation for quality requirements.\nLead or support root cause investigations and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).\nReview, document, and disposition nonconforming material in collaboration with engineering and production teams.\nCompile End Item Data Packages (EIDPs) for delivered hardware.\nSupplier Quality\nSupport supplier qualification, monitoring, and issue resolution activities.\nReview supplier quality documentation and inspection records.\nAssist with supplier corrective actions and quality improvement efforts.\nInspection\nWork closely with technician to resolve discrepancies and clarify requirements.\nAssist in developing inspection methods and acceptance criteria.\nIdentify metrology equipment needed to support inspection activities.\nProvide backup support for receiving, in-process, and final inspections as needed.\nEducation and/or Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, quality, aerospace, or a related field.\n3+ years of experience in quality engineering, manufacturing engineering, or related technical roles.\nU.S. Person Requirement: Due to the nature of the work and access to export-controlled information, applicants must qualify as a U.S. Person under U.S. export control laws.
