We currently have an opportunity for a Quality Compliance Officer. Join our Government and Integrated Facilities Management team and play a key role in conducting and documenting compliance checks on maintenance works completed on Housing Authority assets. Reporting to Quality Manager, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.

What You’ll Do

This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:

  • Undertake planned site inspections in allocated region, ensuring the Works Order claiming and the quality of the completed work by SDP is compliant to contractual, technical and general specifications, legislation and AU standards.

  • Conduct tenant satisfaction surveys following completion of maintenance works to measure service quality and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Identify systemic and emerging risks and escalate findings to relevant stakeholders.

  • Drive and support the development and implementation of quality assurance initiatives to enhance compliance and service delivery standards.

  • Facilitate incident reviews, non-conformance investigations and improvement planning in collaboration with delivery teams.

What You’ll Bring

  • Certificate or Diploma in Auditing, Compliance, Quality Assurance or a related discipline: OR equivalent experience in a compliance or audit-focused role.

  • Degree in Business, Risk Management, Quality Management, or related field: OR training in ISO standards, compliance frameworks or regulatory requirements (Desirable)

  • Demonstrated experience in field-based compliance, risk or operational assurance roles within maintenance, construction or service delivery environments.

  • Electrical Trade Qualification, or strong working knowledge of electrical maintenance, compliance requirements, Australian Standards and electrical safety practices.

  • Ability to plan, conduct and accurately document audits in line with regulatory, compliance and contractual requirements.

  • Knowledge of WA Work Health and Safety Act, Codes of Practice & Requirements.
