We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Safety Graduate to join our team and kick start a rewarding career in health, safety and wellbeing within the Energy & Utilities sector.

As a Safety Graduate, you will participate in a structured graduate program, potentially rotating across different areas of the business to gain exposure to operational safety, risk management, compliance, incident prevention and continuous improvement initiatives. Working alongside experienced leaders and safety professionals, you will support the delivery of our Zero Harm culture and contribute to creating safer workplaces for our people, clients and communities.

This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects nationwide and develop practical experience while building a strong foundation for your career.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about workplace safety, eager to learn and committed to making a positive impact.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Degree in Work Health and Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, Human Factors, Environmental Health, Science or a related discipline, completed in 2025 or due for completion by the end of 2026

  • Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency

  • Hold current driver's licence and availability to commence in February 2027

  • Willingness to learn, an open mindset and a desire to build your professional career from the ground up

  • Strong communication and relationship building skills

  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Have a collaborative approach and eagerness to learn from experienced professionals

  • A proactive, self motivated attitude with a commitment to ongoing development

In this role you will:

  • Support the implementation and promotion of health, safety and wellbeing initiatives across operational projects

  • Assist with inspections, audits, risk assessments and hazard identification activities

  • Support incident investigations and help monitor corrective actions

  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of safety documentation and compliance records

  • Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks and stakeholder engagement activities

  • Contribute to data analysis, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Actively participate in the Graduate Program, development activities and mentoring opportunities

  • Promote and support a culture of Zero Harm across all work environments
