In this role you will be responsible for the daily inspection and documentation of infrastructure projects including road, water main, and sewer construction, as well as play an important role in managing client relationships. You will also contribute to strategic initiatives that drive the growth of the construction group.\nThe Impact You Will Have: \nReview and assure project supervisor of the adequacy of budget and schedule.\nPerform construction observation of construction activities and follow applicable project procedures. \nMaintain a field book in accordance with project procedures.\nPerform measurements of construction work performed and quantity calculations of pay items.\nPrepare Inspector’s Daily Reports and other project documentation as required by the project procedures and as directed by the project supervisor.\nReport to the project supervisor on the progress of work, including technical issues, the status of work remaining to be done, and any noted deficiencies.\nReview plans, specifications, and submittals relating to assigned work.\nProvide design or other professional assistance to project managers.\nMaintain company-owned vehicle or other equipment assigned for use on the project.\nWhat You Will Need:\nBS in Civil or Construction Engineering or in a related engineering curriculum required, EIT preferred.\n0-5 years of working experience with DOT is preferred.Recent college grads are highly encouraged to apply!\n\nExperience working on field projects desired.\nExperience utilizing ArcGIS, MicroStation, and Geopak, and/or AutoCAD is desirable.\nExcellent communication and intrapersonal skills.\nStrong organization and ability to perform services efficiently and within budgets and schedules.\nAbility to work effectively independently and in a team environment.\nGood driving record and valid driver's license.\nThe expected compensation range for this position is displayed in accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. The final agreed-upon compensation is based on numerous factors, including but not limited to individual education, qualifications, prior work experience, and geographic location.
