Whether you’re seeking your first internship or ready for the next step in your budding career, Benesch is hiring individuals to join our dynamic teams across the country! \nAs a Landscape Architecture Design Intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting landscape architecture projects' planning, design, and presentation. You will work closely with our Design Team, assisting with drafting, rendering, site surveys, and client presentations, while supporting workflows in AutoCAD, Photoshop, 3D modeling programs, and other design tools. \nYour role will include participating in site visits and walkthroughs to ensure project requirements are met, documenting project details, and supporting project teams with planning and design tasks. You will also maintain high-quality standards for all work, participate in departmental and training meetings, and adhere to all Benesch policies, procedures, and work standards, while learning the processes that make our projects successful. \nLocation \nThis internship will be based in our Glastonbury, CT office with on-site work at project locations. \nWhat We Are Looking For \nActively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a related design field \nUnderstanding of landscape terminology, plant materials, and installation techniques \nProficiency in AutoCAD; moderate proficiency in Photoshop and 3D modeling programs \nStrong interpersonal, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills \nAbility to participate in site visits and travel to project locations as needed \nHighly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to maintain high-quality standards in all work \nEagerness to learn from mentorship and actively contribute to real-world landscape architecture projects \nWhy Benesch?\nIt’s simple.
