In this role you will work on various transportation projects with state and local transportation agencies. As a Designer you will perform engineering models, analysis and/or designs, and supporting calculations / documentation. You will also coordinate the drafting of project elements for various clients. Recent Graduates are encouraged to apply! \nThe Impact You Will Have: \nCollect and assimilate data and perform modeling, analysis and/or design calculations of project elements.\nDraw design details under direction of others.\nCompute quantities and demonstrate awareness of relationships to pay items.\nOrganize calculations to be included in design files, following project standards.\nCoordinate drafting of an element.\nPerform field or site visits as needed.\nDevelop cursory knowledge of applicable codes and standards and use of applicable CADD and Microsoft software.\nWhat We Are Looking For: \nBachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related discipline required.\nE.I.T (or desire to obtain P.E. in the future) preferred.\nKnowledgeable in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, and Microsoft Office products\nDemonstrated ability to work and collaborate in a team environment on challenging projects.\nWillingness to be adaptable to office and field inspection tasks. The position may include the need to perform Field Inspection and may require travel to project sites. \n\nExcellent communication skills (verbal and written - e-mails, project memos, reports, etc.)\nDetailed, and organized individual who thrives in environments that are deadline driven. \nThe expected compensation range for this position is displayed in accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. The final agreed-upon compensation is based on numerous factors, including but not limited to individual education, qualifications, prior work experience, and geographic location.
