In this role you will work on various structural design projects with state and local transportation agencies. As a Designer you will perform engineering models, analysis and/or designs, and supporting calculations / documentation. You will also coordinate the drafting of project elements for various clients. Recent Graduates are encouraged to apply! \nLocation\nThis role will be located in either our Kansas City, KS, Manhattan, KS, Wichita, KS, or Topeka, KS office location.\nThe Impact You Will Have\nCollect and assimilate data and perform modeling, analysis and/or design calculations of project elements.\nDraw design details under direction of Project Managers.\nCompute quantities and demonstrate awareness of relationships to pay items.\nOrganize calculations to be included in design files, following project standards.\nCoordinate drafting of an element.\nPerform field or site visits as needed.\nDevelop knowledge of applicable codes and standards and use of applicable CADD and Microsoft software.\nWhat You Will Need\nBachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related discipline required.\nE.I.T (or desire to obtain P.E. in the future) preferred.\nKnowledgeable in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office products.\nDemonstrated ability to work and collaborate in a team environment on challenging projects.\nWillingness to be adaptable to office and field inspection tasks.
