The role is the primary architecture leader for procurement, Materials Management, supplier management, inventory management, invoice processing, service procurement, and related master-data capabilities. The architect establishes the PTP roadmap, drives process harmonization and solution standardization, and aligns solutions with enterprise architecture, procurement strategy, financial controls, data governance, security requirements, and SAP best practices.Job ResponsibilitiesProcure-to-Pay Architecture and Strategy\nDefine and maintain the SAP Procure-to-Pay architecture roadmap aligned with business and enterprise technology strategies.\nLead solution architecture across procurement, supplier management, inventory management, invoicing, service procurement, and related PTP processes.\nEstablish architecture standards and governance across SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and integrated procurement platforms.\nTranslate business requirements into scalable, maintainable solutions and evaluate emerging SAP capabilities to guide adoption.SAP S/4HANA Transformation\nProvide architecture leadership for the transition from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA.\nLead PTP process standardization, simplification, harmonization, and future-state design.\nPromote fit-to-standard solutions while addressing critical business requirements.\nGuide solution decisions across design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support.Functional and Process Leadership\nServe as the subject matter expert for SAP Materials Management and end-to-end Procure-to-Pay processes.\nLead process design across purchasing, inventory, supplier management, invoicing, intercompany procurement, and related financial integration.\nDrive improvements focused on automation, compliance, efficiency, financial control, and user experience.\nFacilitate requirements gathering, fit-gap assessments, design workshops, and solution reviews.Integration, Data and Platform Architecture\nDesign and govern integrations between SAP PTP solutions and enterprise applications using APIs, IDocs, EDI, SAP Integration Suite/BTP, and enterprise middleware.\nLead architecture and integration for SAP MM, S/4HANA Procurement, SAP Ariba, SAP MDG, SAP Fiori, Vendor Invoice Management, and related solutions.\nDefine secure, reliable, and scalable integration standards; maintain interface inventories, data flows, architecture diagrams, and technical documentation.\nEvaluate third-party procurement-platform integration approaches and ensure consistent experiences across procurement, finance, and supplier communities.Analytics, Reporting and Controls\nDefine architecture for procurement analytics, spend analysis, supplier-performance reporting, KPI measurement, and compliance monitoring.\nEnsure data structures support accurate reporting, auditability, financial controls, and regulatory requirements.\nIdentify opportunities to improve visibility into procurement performance and spend management.Delivery, Governance and Leadership\nProvide architectural oversight throughout the solution lifecycle, including design, development, configuration, testing, deployment, release planning, and support.\nEstablish and enforce SAP architecture standards, design principles, security requirements, and governance processes.\nReview enhancements and customizations to maximize standard SAP functionality and support clean-core objectives.\nServe as a trusted advisor to Procurement, Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Data Governance, Enterprise Architecture, and IT leadership.\nCommunicate architecture decisions, risks, tradeoffs, and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.\nMentor functional and technical team members and promote SAP best practices, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.Team Management\nLead, engage, and develop a team of SAP functional resources, establishing clear roles, priorities, performance expectations, and accountability for results.\nConduct regular one-on-one and team meetings to provide direction, remove barriers, share organizational priorities, and maintain alignment across operational support and transformation initiatives.\nCoach team members through timely, candid feedback; support individual development plans, succession readiness, knowledge transfer, and continuous learning.\nFoster a collaborative and psychologically safe environment that encourages open communication, inclusion, constructive challenge, innovation, and shared ownership.\nPlan and balance team capacity across projects, enhancements, production support, and emerging priorities; delegate work effectively and escalate resource risks when necessary.\nRecognize contributions, reinforce Benjamin Moore values and desired management behaviors, and address performance or conduct concerns consistently in partnership with Human Resources.\nEnsure the team follows company policies, required training, security and compliance standards, and established COE governance and documentation practices.\nQualifications\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND SKILLS\nBachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.\n12+ years of SAP experience with deep expertise in Procure-to-Pay and Materials Management.\nExperience with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA procurement solutions and with S/4HANA transformation, process harmonization, or SAP modernization initiatives.\nStrong knowledge of SAP MM, purchasing, inventory management, supplier management, master data, financial integration, security, compliance, and integration architecture.\nExperience with SAP Master Data Governance and enterprise integrations using APIs, IDocs, EDI, and SAP Integration Suite/BTP.\nProven ability to lead requirements gathering, solution design, architecture reviews, testing, implementation governance, and cross-functional delivery.\nExcellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, executive-influence, structured problem-solving, and collaboration skills\nEngagement, Inclusion + Social Impact\nAt Benjamin Moore, we don't just accept difference - we celebrate it, support it, and thrive because it benefits our employees, customers, and community.
