In this role, you will support daily accounting operations by processing and allocating global cash transactions, reconciling bank activity, and collaborating with colleagues across multiple regions. As a key member of an international team, you will help ensure the accurate and timely allocation of incoming and outgoing payments while contributing to efficient financial operations across the organization.\nThis role does not require travel.\nResponsibilities\nProcess global bank statements and accurately allocate incoming and outgoing payments to the appropriate accounts.\nPerform bank statement reconciliations and support cash allocation activities across Bentley Systems entities worldwide.\nMaintain a strong understanding of payment types, general ledger accounts, and cash application processes.\nInvestigate and resolve payment-related discrepancies and customer account issues.\nManage email communications related to cash allocation and account reconciliation inquiries.\nCollaborate with Finance, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, and other business teams to obtain missing information and resolve unidentified payments.\nSupport continuous improvement efforts related to cash allocation and reconciliation processes.\nWork closely with colleagues across North America, Europe, and India as part of a global finance team.\nEffectively communicate and collaborate using Microsoft Teams and other business systems.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.\nMinimum of three years of accounting experience with a focus on cash allocation, cash application, bank reconciliations, or related accounting functions.\nUnderstanding of accounting principles, general ledger accounts, and financial transaction processing.\nStrong English communication skills, both written and verbal.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.\nAbility to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\nExcellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.\nDemonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a global team environment.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience working with cloud-based ERP systems such as Workday, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.\nExperience supporting multinational or global finance operations.\nKnowledge of cash management, treasury operations, or accounts receivable processes.\nContinuous improvement mindset with a proactive, hands-on approach to problem solving.\n\nThis is a Hybrid role.\nWhat We Offer:\nStep into a collaborative work environment where ideas flourish, and teamwork propels us forward towards shared success.\nAn attractive salary and benefits package.\nBentley Impact Day: take a day off from work to volunteer with an organization of your choice.\nCelebrate milestone achievements and moments that matter through our colleague recognition award programs and our Bentley Achievers platform.\nA commitment to inclusion, belonging and colleague wellbeing through global initiatives and resource groups.\nBe part of a company committed to making a real difference by advancing the world’s infrastructure for better quality of life, where your contributions help build a more sustainable, connected, and resilient world.
