We are looking for an Application Engineer reporting Solution Engineering Management to support key Bentley accounts.\nOur Solution Engineering team partners with sales to showcase Bentley solutions to major global organizations. As an Application Engineer, you will prepare content and datasets, deliver product presentations, understand account requirements, and communicate this knowledge within the organization. Your role bridges Bentley products with user needs, aiding in Account Advancement, User Advancement, and Product Advancement, supporting growth of ARR and usage of our products.\nResponsibilities:\nPromote Bentley solutions to infrastructure audiences.\nCreate presentations and demos showcasing Bentley applications.\nPrepare datasets for user presentations and demos.\nConduct and/or support Discovery sessions, as required, define solution requirements that deliver against our accounts’ objectives.\nSupport sales and marketing events.\nContribute to proposal development and submission.\nProvide feedback to Product Teams via established channels to improve products and collaborate with Product Teams on updates.\nResearch proactively and understand industry standards and recommend product configurations.\nStay informed about industry trends and competitors.\nDemonstrate the value of our technical solutions to designers, engineers, architects, contractors and owners, and help them achieve or exceed their business goals.\nConnect with relevant stakeholders and users in the account during engagements and gather account-specific intelligence, feedback, and insights and share with the account team for incorporation into account strategy and plans.\nCommunicate consistently, clearly, and timely with account stakeholders and internal colleagues including the account team. Attend and contribute to account team meetings as required, as determined by the account team.\nSupport sales opportunities and account planning, execute the Bentley Sales Process, and use Salesforce to document key activities.\nEnsure a smooth transition to Services engagements through knowledge sharing.\nSupport in the delivery of training, as required.\nFoster a culture of “One Bentley” and collaborating with internal stakeholders in a manner that benefits our accounts.\nTravel to user sites and software user conferences up to 50% of the time may be required.\nThis is a full-time role.
