This position oversees project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, procurement, client relations, and field operations to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. The Project Manager collaborates closely with owners, engineers, field supervisors, and contractors to resolve issues, maintain project progress, and deliver exceptional results for clients.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nProject Planning & Execution\nManage all phases of assigned mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.\nDevelop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and work plans.\nReview project drawings, specifications, contracts, and scope of work.\nCoordinate labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors to support project objectives.\nMonitor project performance and implement corrective actions when necessary.\nEnsure projects are completed according to contract requirements and quality standards.\nFinancial Management\nPrepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost reports.\nTrack labor productivity, material costs, and project expenditures.\nReview and approve invoices, purchase orders, and subcontractor payments.\nManage change orders, cost impacts, and project billing.\nIdentify opportunities to improve project profitability and efficiency.\nClient & Stakeholder Relations\nServe as the primary point of contact for clients, owners, and project stakeholders.\nLead owner, architect, and contractor (OAC) meetings.\nMaintain positive relationships with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and trade partners.\nCommunicate project status, milestones, and potential issues proactively.\nEnsure customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.\nField Coordination & Leadership\nCollaborate with field supervisors and foremen to ensure efficient project execution.\nSupport jobsite teams in resolving technical and operational challenges.\nConduct jobsite visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.\nCoordinate with other trades to minimize conflicts and maintain schedules.\nPromote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and safety.\nRisk Management & Compliance\nEnsure compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, and contract requirements.\nManage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.\nIdentify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.\nMaintain accurate records and project files throughout the project lifecycle.\nSupport project closeout activities, including punch lists and final documentation.\nQualifications & Experience\nBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field preferred.\nMinimum of five (5) years of project management experience in the mechanical construction industry.\nExperience managing HVAC, piping, and mechanical construction projects.\nStrong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, and cost control.\nProficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office applications.\nExperience with project management platforms such as Procore, Bluebeam, or similar software preferred.\nValid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities\nStrong leadership and team management skills.\nExcellent communication and relationship-building abilities.\nAbility to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.\nStrong organizational and problem-solving skills.\nKnowledge of mechanical systems, construction practices, and industry standards.\nAbility to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and contracts.\nStrong negotiation and conflict-resolution abilities.\nWork Environment & Physical Requirements\nCombination of office and field work on active construction sites.\nFrequent travel to project locations as required.\nAbility to sit, stand, walk, and use a computer for extended periods.\nOccasional lifting of materials and equipment up to 25 pounds.\nMay require visits to mechanical rooms, rooftops, and active construction
