Examples of projects conducted by BERENT \n\nWe are looking for a data processing specialist to join our team in Lithuania. We welcome both candidates with relevant professional experience and graduates with strong quantitative data skills who are interested in developing their careers in data anlysis.\n\nThe work is coordinated by our BERENT team in Germany. This is a back-office position focused on quantitative survey data processing, statistical tabulations and preparing results for further analysis. Analytical interpretation, final client reporting and direct client communication are not part of the role.\n\n Your responsibilities\n\n Prepare, clean, validate and merge quantitative survey datasets.\n\nProcess survey data collected through different methodologies, including online and telephone interviews (CAWI, CATI and mixed-mode).\n\nPrepare statistical tables, cross-tabulations and datasets for further analysis.\n\nApply weighting procedures and perform data quality checks.\n\nPrepare and analyse sampling data and support the development of multidimensional survey quotas.\n\nMonitor sample composition and quota fulfilment during fieldwork.\n\nPrepare fieldwork progress reports and support the research team with data-related tasks.\n\nIdentify opportunities to automate and streamline routine data processing and validation tasks using AI-powered tools and other appropriate technologies.\n\n Your profile\n\n University degree or ongoing studies in Statistics, Sociology, Social Sciences, Economics, Mathematics, Data Science or a related quantitative field.\n\nStrong Excel skills and confidence working with structured datasets.\n\nExperience with statistical software such as R and/or programming skills in Python for data processing and automation.\n\nGood understanding of quantitative data processing and basic statistical methods.\n\nAbility to effectively use AI-powered tools to automate and optimise data processing tasks, improve efficiency and accuracy, while ensuring data quality and reliability.\n\nAnalytical thinking, accuracy and attention to detail.\n\nExcellent command of English, both written and spoken.\n\nAdditional advantages:\n\nPrevious experience in market research, including survey data processing.\n\nFamiliarity with sampling, weighting or survey methodology.\n\n Company offers\n\n Initial training with our team in Kassel, Germany.\n\nA hybrid working model, allowing remote work in Lithuania with occasional office visits in Vilnius.\n\nThe opportunity to contribute to major international research projects.\n\nA supportive environment with opportunities to develop specialised skills in statistical data processing and survey methodology.\n\nFlexible working arrangements, including the possibility of part-time employment alongside e.g. master's studies.\n\nRemuneration reflecting qualifications and experience.\n\n Work life balance\n Flexible work hours\n Remote work possibility\n\n Salary\n\n 2600-3200\n €/mon.\n gross\n\n Additional bonuses.\n\n Work place\n\n A.
