The Shipping Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating shipping activities, supervising the shipping team and maintaining efficient processes to meet customer requirements.\nDuties and Responsibilities\nPlan and coordinate shipping activities to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products. \nResponsible for timely routing and vendor shipping compliance. \nRuns report (e.g., aged report) to monitor productivity. \nConducts accuracy/quality audits by verifying product quantity/quality. \nSet performance targets and KPIs for the shipping team and monitor their progress.\nIdentify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase shipping efficiency and reduce errors.\nWork closely with the Warehouse Manager and other departments to ensure smooth communication and collaboration. \nEnsure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, such as safety and hazardous material handling requirements. \nManage carrier relationships and request freight quotes. \nEnforce safety protocols and best practices to create a safe working environment for all shipping associates.\nLead, train, and mentor shipping associates to ensure they understand their roles, follow procedures, and meet productivity goals.\nFoster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and effective communication among team members.\nConduct monthly EFR (Efficiency Feedback Reviews) with staff providing feedback and coaching on areas of improvement. \nRequirements\nPrevious experience in a similar role, preferably in a 3PL environment or logistics industry.\nTwo to five years of related warehouse experience is desirable. \nPrevious experience as a team leader or supervisor is preferred. \nKnowledge of shipping regulations, laws, and procedures (e.g., OSHA, Hazmat). \nExperience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) experience preferred. \nAbility to communicate including reading, writing and speaking;
