If you have a passion for golf and an appreciation for the finer things in life, we invite you to apply to become a part of our distinguished team.\nWhy Join Us?\nExclusive Environment: Work in a premier setting that values tradition and excellence.\nPassion for Golf: Immerse yourself in a community that shares your enthusiasm for the game.\nCareer Growth: Opportunities for professional development and advancement within the club.\nJOB SUMMARY:\nBerkeley Hall Club is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities Maintenance Department.\nThe Technician is responsible for maintaining clubhouse facilities and equipment to Berkeley Hall Club standards, including HVAC upkeep, painting, door and window repairs, and roof and ceiling maintenance. Plumbing, electrical, furniture repairs, refrigeration maintenance and kitchen equipment.\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nCoordinates the servicing and repairing of systems for lighting, heating, ventilating, fire, drainage, plumbing, electrical, painting and related maintenance activities.\nCompletes regular inspection and servicing of all HVAC units and changes filters as per usual schedule.\nPerforms routine preventive maintenance (PM) required by club’s PM procedures.\nMaintains accurate maintenance and repair records of equipment and machinery.\nVisually inspects rooms, public spaces and back of the house areas to replace light bulbs, lamps, switches, etc.\nEnsures that all building maintenance, repair and cleaning activities are identified, scheduled and completed.\nInspect property and clear of debris such as downed limbs, trash, and any and all other debris.\nCheck water well for chlorine level in drum, tank level, and record daily water usage.\nOversee daily operation of treatment plant and record effluent flow reading.\nMonitors all areas of the Club and records deficiencies\nKeeps the work shop areas safe, clean and well-lit.\nEnsures that all refuse is properly removed from the clubhouse and its premises.\nResponds to emergencies at any time.\nCollects maintenance and work orders from department heads for approval by the Director of Facilities Maintenance.\nEnsures a highly efficient safety program with an emphasis on awareness, discipline and compliance; implements an overall safety program that conforms to OSHA standards.\nCompletes other appropriate assignments made by the Director of Facilities Maintenance.\nPHYSICAL AND ENVIORNMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:\nRegularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions.\nFrequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals.\nOccasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; extreme cold; extreme heat; risk of electrical shock; and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.\nAble to meet and perform the physical requirements and to work effectively in an environment which is typical of this position.\nFrequent lifting, bending, climbing, stooping and pulling.\nFrequent repetitive motions.\nContinuous standing and walking.\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nHigh School diploma or GED required.\nPost-secondary vocational training in electrical engineering, HVAC or refrigeration preferred.\nPrevious five years or more of maintenance experience in an institutional or business setting.\nJob Knowledge, Core Competencies and Expectations\nWorking knowledge of HVAC, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration and painting.\nAssists other engineering staff with repairs to locks, plumbing fixtures, electrical outlets, minor carpentry work, etc.\nReports major repairs to supervisor for correction.\nKnowledge of and ability to perform required role during emergency situations.\nThis is not necessarily an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, skills, duties, requirements, efforts, or working conditions associated with the job.
