The team is seeking a Studio Operations and Support Consultant who thrives in a collaborative, mission-driven space and is eager to support cutting-edge audio facilities.\nWhat You’ll Do: Reporting to the Studio Operations and Support Manager, the Studio Operations and Support Consultant ensures the seamless operation of Berklee’s 32 recording studios and suites. Key responsibilities include:\nDelivering top-tier technical assistance and troubleshooting for classes, daytime recording ensembles, grant sessions, and visiting artist events across specialized audio hardware, software, Dante, and video systems.\nMaintaining facility flow by inspecting equipment, monitoring schedules, managing gear check-outs, and maintaining detailed logs in FileMaker Pro.\nCo-supervising a team of 50 student Studio Assistants, guiding them on day-to-day procedures and troubleshooting.\nExecuting semesterly software and hardware testing, equipment maintenance, and participating in technology upgrade projects.\nSupporting specialized equipment requests, including percussion inventory, and leading new user orientation sessions.\nWhat We’re Looking For\n\n Education & Experience: Bachelor’s in Music Production and Engineering (or related music tech program) and 1-2 years in a commercial recording facility. Higher education experience is a plus.\n Technical Mastery: Expertise in DAWs (Pro Tools, Logic, Ableton), signal flow, Dante, and high-end consoles (Neve 88RS, SSL Duality, API, Avid S6/HDX).\nSkills: Excellent communication, strong organizational abilities, customer service mindset under pressure, and proficiency with Mac/Windows, Google Workspace, and ticketing systems.\nFlexibility: Ability to work evening, weekend, and or overnight shifts and lift up to 30 lbs.\nWhy Join Berklee?
