advanced robotic manipulation software deployed in production environments.\nCreate high-performance software solutions for robotic manipulation, focusing on motion planning, kinematics, control strategies and motion execution, to enhance our robotic solutions.\nUtilize and extend simulation software environments to test and refine manipulation development, ensuring expected and robust performance.\nWork closely with hardware engineers, product managers, and other software teams to integrate capabilities into our broader robotic systems.\nProvide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.\nClearly and proactively communicate technical priorities and status.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, or a closely related field.\n4+ years of professional software development experience in a production environment.\nStrong development expertise in Python.\nUnderstanding parallel/distributed systems and asynchronous/concurrent programming.\nExperience in designing and implementing software and algorithms for motion planning, motion execution, multi-arm coordination, robotic kinematics, and/or environment representation.\nExperience in designing and developing RESTful interfaces, gRPC services/clients, etc.\nFamiliarity with system design principles and design patterns.\nStrong drive to deliver well-designed, well-implemented and well-tested solutions to meet internal and external requirements.\nAbility to handle ambiguous or ill-defined problems, and scope, plan and implement solutions for them.\nExperience with version control (Git), code reviews, issue tracking (Jira) and automated testing (unit, integration, and hardware-in-the-loop).\nAbility to work collaboratively in a team setting and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nMaster’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science or a closely related field.\n6+ years of experience in software development in a production environment.\nExperience with ROS/ROS2.\nExperience with development and integration of drivers for robotic hardware, particularly robotic arms.\nFamiliarity with robotics simulation tools and test environments.\nFamiliarity with the Linux ecosystem.\nFamiliarity with Python’s asyncio library.\nProgramming experience in C++.\nExperience with NoSQL databases (e.g.,
