Responsibilities\nPrepare, file, and manage pleadings and related court documents utilizing federal and state electronic filing systems in compliance with applicable court procedures and policies\nPrepare, organize, and review exhibits, binders, and other materials for depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials\nConduct title searches, draft abstracts, lien certificates, and lien discharges\nDraft motions, discovery requests, subpoenas, affidavits, notices, certificates of service and related documents\nAssist attorneys with all phases of discovery and eDiscovery, including preparation of discovery requests and responses, document review and analysis, and management of discovery materials\nAssist with service of process\nCalculate, calendar and track deadlines with a working knowledge of relevant civil procedure and other applicable rulesAttend to file maintenance within the firm’s document management system\n\nPrepare Excel charts, spreadsheets, timelines, and other summaries of various types of information\nCommunicate with clients, opposing counsel, clerk’s office personnel, potential witnesses, experts and others \nConduct research (legal and non-legal) and prepare clear, concise memoranda\nProvide administrative, paralegal, and case management support to attorneys and perform other related duties as assigned.\nBillable work as assigned with a goal of 1400 billable hours per year\nRequirements\nA bachelor’s degree or paralegal certification with litigation paralegal experience\nMust have superior writing and oral communication skills\nMust have strong research skills\nMust have ability to pay acute attention to detail and proofreading \nMust have ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks\nGreat team player, enthusiastic proactive and self-directed\nOutstanding organizational skills and excellent judgement and problem solving skills\nMust be flexible with schedule and time requirements to meet deadlines and needs of the Litigation Practice group\nTransaction legal experience a plus\nTechnologically savvy;
