In this role, you’ll lead audit, review, compilation, and related engagements for financial services clients while building strong client relationships, coaching developing professionals, and contributing to a collaborative team that values quality, curiosity, and practical problem-solving. This position may be based in Waltham, MA; Manchester, NH; New Haven, CT; Bangor, ME; Portland, ME; or remotely.\nTravel Expectations: Travel expectations for this position are minimal, less than 10%\nYou Will:\nManage, direct and monitor multiple client engagements; schedule and coordinate workflow and staffing for projects and engagements. \nMaintain active communication with clients to manage expectations, ensure satisfaction, and lead change efforts effectively. \nResearch and analyze financial statements and related issues utilizing electronic databases and employ software to audit, review and compile financial information, as well as possess the ability to document conclusions developed during the engagement. \nConsult, work with, and service clients to make recommendations on business improvement and process improvement and serve as a business advisor to clients. \nTeam with Principals and other Senior Managers on proposals and business development activities \nSupervise, lead, and mentor associates and interns on engagements and assess performance of staff. \nParticipate in personal and professional development sessions on a regular basis. \nYou Have:\nBS/MS degree in Accounting \n6+ years of progressive public accounting experience, preferably with financial services clients (banks, credit unions, broker-dealers, etc.)\nCPA license \nExcellent technical skills, including an understanding of professional rules, and regulations\nHighly evolved analytical and problem solving ability \nProven supervisory and training success \nAbility to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environment \nExcellent communication and client service skills \nExcellent interpersonal, relationship building and organizational skills \nCompensation Details:\nThe base salary range targeted for this role is $100,000 - $130,000. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on factors such as company and personal performance. This salary range represents BerryDunn’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. If an applicant possesses experience, education, or other qualifications more than the minimum requirements for this posting, that applicant is encouraged to apply, and a final salary range may then be based on those additional qualifications; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
