Travel to client sites can range up to 50%.\nYou Will\nParticipate in audit, review, and compilation engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients.\nDevelop an understanding of client operations, financial reporting processes, and industry-specific risks.\nAssist in preparing workpapers, audit documentation, and financial statements.\nAnalyze financial information, identify inconsistencies, and ask thoughtful questions to deepen your understanding.\nCollaborate with team members and clients to gather information and support engagement objectives.\nBuild strong communication skills through regular interactions with colleagues, managers, and clients.\nDevelop proficiency in accounting, audit, and technology tools used throughout the firm.\nApply feedback from supervisors and mentors to continuously improve your technical and professional skills.\nManage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and quality.\nProgress toward CPA certification and other professional development goals.\nYou Have\nBachelor's degree in Accounting or expected completion prior to start date. Master's degree is a plus but not required.\nInternship, co-op, campus leadership, customer service, or other professional experience is helpful but not required.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nCuriosity and a desire to understand how businesses operate.\nCritical thinking and problem-solving abilities.\nAttention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.\nStrong organizational and time-management skills.\nA willingness to seek feedback, learn from others, and continuously improve.\nAbility to collaborate effectively in a team environment.\nBasic proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.\nInterest in pursuing CPA licensure.\nCompensation Details\nThe base salary range targeted for this role is $68,000 - $79,000. This salary range represents BerryDunn’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. If an applicant possesses experience, education, or other qualifications more than the minimum requirements for this posting, that applicant is encouraged to apply, and a final salary range may then be based on those additional qualifications; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
