As a Staff Consultant, you will accelerate your professional and personal growth through learning and collaborating with Medicaid Practice Group leaders. In this role you will learn to provide services to State Medicaid Agencies as they work to manage and mature their programs.\nAs a Staff Consultant - Project Coordinator you will initially be responsible for meeting preparation and follow-up, meeting notes, maintenance of the project's SharePoint site and related project logs, and support for project deliverables. Your initial duties will include taking and distributing meeting notes; tracking action items, issues, risks, and decisions; supporting the development of PowerPoint presentations; preparing and distributing meeting agendas; and supporting the development of project deliverables.\nThe successful candidate will be expected to learn quickly, be flexible, prioritize with ease, and be a great team player. Excellent relationship and communication skills are vital to the success of this role.\nTravel Expectations: This role requires travel up to 25% of the time with additional flexibility to travel as client needs arise.\nYou Will\nProvide project coordination support\nPerform a wide variety of analytical tasks with continuous improvement of processes, personnel, organization, system or training\nPrepare and distribute meeting agendas and notes\nCollaborate with team to develop project deliverables\nTrack, monitor, and maintain project action items, decisions, risks, and issues within project logs\nMaintain awareness of project status\nSupport engagement-wide communications\nProactively participate in team and client related meetings\nManage project SharePoint site\nPerform assigned administrative tasks efficiently and effectively \nUphold firm quality standards\nEstablish and achieve development and performance goals\nCollaborate with team members to maintain existing clients and attain new business \nParticipate in firm-wide initiatives \nWork toward obtaining appropriate professional certifications.\nYou Have\nA BA/BS/MS Degree in Political Science, Public Health, Economics, Management Information Systems, Health Care Management, or Business\nExperience in a professional work setting\nUnderstanding of general Medicaid, HHS, and IT concepts\nExcellent written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills\nExcellent analytic, problem-solving, and organizational skills \nStrong time management skills for balancing multiple assignments and achieving quality results in a timely manner\nProactive, positive, and eager attitude\nExperience with MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word\nAbility to work independently as well as collaboratively \nCompensation Details\nThe base salary range targeted for this role is $65,000 - $75,000. This salary range represents BerryDunn’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. If an applicant possesses experience, education, or other qualifications more than the minimum requirements for this posting, that applicant is encouraged to apply, and a final salary range may then be based on those additional qualifications; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
