This role requires a blend of strong project management leadership, technical expertise, and Agile delivery capabilities to successfully manage multiple concurrent projects in a hybrid Agile environment.\nThe ideal candidate brings deep experience leading technical teams, strong subject-matter expertise in healthcare data and systems, and the ability to operate at the intersection of project management, business analysis, and data engineering collaboration.\nLocation: This position can be remote within the United States or based in one of BerryDunn’s office locations.\nTravel Expectations: Up to 25% travel may be required depending on client needs and project demands.\nYou Will\nEngage in discussions with the team, clients, and project sponsors to define project objectives, success criteria, and priorities\nLead and deliver multiple concurrent projects using a hybrid Agile (Scrum) and traditional project management approach\nDevelop and maintain project plans, schedules, status reports, and delivery roadmaps\nManage project risks, issues, dependencies, and resources across projects\nFacilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and demos\nProvide technical oversight across the full Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) for assigned projects\nCollaborate with data engineers on data pipelines, warehousing, reporting, and integration solutions\nElicit, document, and manage business and system requirements\nTranslate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications\nServe as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams\nPerform and oversee SQL-based data analysis, validation, and quality assurance activities\nHave a strong understanding of the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and be able to grasp complex technical topics\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members\nProvide clear, consistent communication and deliver presentations\nUse Artificial Intelligence tools to enhance productivity and improve project deliverables\nProvide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement\nKeep abreast of the latest trends and technologies in data engineering, healthcare analytics, data science, and AI to ensure BerryDunn remains at the forefront of the industry\nEnsure all data solutions comply with industry standards, regulations, and security protocols, particularly those specific to healthcare\nYou Have\nMinimum of 5 years of experience leading enterprise data management, data integration, or data analytics technical projects\nExperience managing projects in Agile/Scrum or hybrid delivery environments\nExperience developing, maintaining, and managing project artifacts, schedules, risks, issues, dependencies, and resource plans\nStrong background managing system implementation, data engineering, analytics, reporting, data warehousing, or data modernization initiatives\nExperience with business analysis, requirements elicitation, process mapping, and requirements management\nWorking knowledge of SQL, relational databases, and data analysis concepts sufficient to effectively collaborate with technical teams and validate project deliverables\nHands-on experience with managing/administering projects in Jira\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills\nAbility to manage multiple priorities\nA team-oriented mindset with a friendly and professional demeanor, coupled with the ability to remain flexible amid changing needs and priorities\nAbility to work effectively with coworkers and diverse clients through periods of both intense interaction and self-directed work\nA bachelor's degree in a related field; Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus\nWe welcome professionals at various experience levels to apply. Level of hire will be commensurate with experience level.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in healthcare, Medicaid, public health, or human services data ecosystems\nScrum Master certification (CSM, PSM) or PMP\nConsulting experience in data analytics, integration, or data management engagements\nFamiliarity with cloud technologies and cloud-based data platforms\nKnowledge of HIPAA and data governance\nExperience administering an Atlassian (Jira) instance\nAbility to support teams and clients across multiple time zones, as needed.\nCompensation Details\nThe base salary range targeted for this role is $90,000 to $140,000. This salary range represents BerryDunn’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. If an applicant possesses experience, education, or other qualifications in excess of the minimum requirements for this posting, that applicant is encouraged to apply and a final salary range may then be based on those additional qualifications; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
