At our Consumer Products operation in Puttershoek, you will play an important role in ensuring smooth and compliant customs processes. As the operation continues to develop, we are looking to further structure and optimize our customs activities, creating opportunities to contribute your expertise and improve the way we work.\nYou will work in a dynamic supply chain environment where accuracy, collaboration and continuous improvement are key. Together with your colleagues, you will help ensure that import, export and transit activities are handled efficiently and in compliance with all applicable customs legislation.\nYOUR TASKS\nAs a Customs Declarant, you are responsible for ensuring smooth customs operations and maintaining compliance with international customs regulations.\nPrepare, process and verify import, export and transit customs declarations;\n\nMonitor customs processes and ensure all documentation complies with current customs legislation;\n\nCollect and validate data required for customs declarations;\n\nIdentify discrepancies and coordinate solutions with internal and external stakeholders;\n\nSupport customs inspections, physical checks and audits;\n\nMaintain contact with customs authorities, carriers, customers and internal departments;\n\nContribute to the continuous improvement and optimization of customs processes within the operation.\n\nYOUR PROFILE\nWe are looking for an accurate and proactive professional who enjoys working in an international logistics environment.\nMBO+ or HBO working and thinking level;\n\nA recognized customs qualification is considered an advantage;\n\nExperience in customs or international logistics is a plus;\n\nGood knowledge of MS Office;\n\nAffinity with logistics processes and administrative work;\n\nGood command of the English language;\n\nFlexibility to work in a two-shift schedule, with the earliest start at 06:30 and the latest finish at 21:30 on weekdays;\n\nAvailability to work on Saturdays.\n\nPlease note that visa sponsorship is not available for this position.\nWHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU\nAt Arvato, you'll have the opportunity to build your career in an international logistics environment where your expertise truly makes a difference.
