Working at Arvato means: Together, we’re on it.\nJob Description\nLocation: Hams Hall\nSalary: £28,000\nHours: 40hours Monday - Friday\nDocumentation Management: Accurately manage and check processes and documents related to the import, export, and transit of goods under customs supervision.\nCustoms Declarations: Collect data, prepare, and process customs declarations in accordance with applicable customs regulations and internal procedures.\nCompliance & Legislation: Identify any deviations from customs legislation, discuss with relevant stakeholders, and ensure full compliance with current laws.\nGoods Traffic: Manage the flow of international goods, ensuring that all shipments are processed efficiently and on time.\nAudits & Inspections: Support physical checks and audits by customs authorities and internal teams to maintain compliance.\nStakeholder Engagement: Communicate and collaborate with external parties such as carriers, customers, and customs authorities, as well as internal colleagues across all levels of the business.\nQualifications\nExperience: Proven experience in a customs role, preferably in a bonded warehouse or logistics environment.\nCustomer-Oriented: Strong client and customer-focused mindset, with a commitment to providing high-quality service.\nProblem-Solving: Proactive approach to identifying issues and resolving them efficiently.\nCommunication: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.\nPrioritization: Strong ability to manage conflicting priorities and work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\nAdministration: Excellent administrative skills with great attention to detail.\nInitiative: Ability to work independently and take initiative when necessary.\n IT Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable using customs or logistics-related software.\nAdditional Information\nDisclosure requirements pertaining to the collection of your personal data:\nResponsible for processing the information provided in your application is the company specified in the job advertisement, with its registered office as indicated.
