Different structures, processes and tax-related challenges ensure your work remains varied, challenging and rewarding.\nYou will be part of Bertelsmann’s Shared Service Center, located at the Arvato site in Gennep, where the finance activities of multiple organisations come together.\nAs an Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the financial administration of one or more legal entities. You ensure financial data is accurate, reporting provides valuable insights, and processes are continuously improved.\nYour key responsibilities include:\nManaging the general ledger, including reconciliations, adjustments, and month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities;\nPreparing and analysing management reports and statutory financial statements;\nActing as the main point of contact for external parties such as auditors, the Dutch Tax Authorities and banks;\nEnsuring tax compliance in accordance with Dutch legislation and regulations;\nIdentifying opportunities for improvement and implementing enhancements to financial processes and systems.\nYou will work with SAP on a daily basis, ensuring the financial administration is complete, accurate and well organised.\nYou will join a team of Business Administrators, AP/AR Specialists, Managers and Controllers.
