Working at Arvato means: Together, we’re on it.\nJob Description\nLocation: Hams Hall, Birmingham\nSalary: up to £31,745.00 per annum\nHours :Monday-Friday | 40 Hours per Week\nAre you a hands-on IT professional who enjoys solving technical challenges and delivering exceptional customer support?\nAt Arvato, we’re looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join our IT team at our Corby site. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in maintaining our IT infrastructure while providing first-class support to colleagues across the business.\nWhat you’ll be doing:\nActing as the first point of contact for IT support via our ITSM system.\nTroubleshooting hardware, software, network and user account issues.\nBuilding and deploying laptops and desktops using Modern Workplace technologies.\nInstalling, configuring and maintaining IT hardware, software and telecommunications equipment.\nManaging Active Directory user accounts, permissions and Group Policy.\nSupporting Microsoft Intune, Defender for Endpoint and Microsoft 365 environments.\nPerforming server maintenance, backups and ensuring system security.\nMaintaining IT documentation and standard operating procedures.\nWorking closely with third-party suppliers to resolve technical issues.\nIdentifying opportunities to improve IT processes and the end-user experience.\nQualifications\nPrevious experience in an IT Support Engineer, Desktop Support or Systems Administrator role.\nStrong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory and Group Policy.\nExperience with Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Defender and Modern Workplace technologies.\nGood understanding of networking principles including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and VPNs.\nExperience supporting PCs, servers, printers and peripheral devices.\nExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\nStrong communication skills with a customer-first approach.\nThe ability to prioritise workloads and work effectively in a fast-paced
