Working at Arvato means: Together, we’re on it.\nJob Description\nThe Operations Supervisor is responsible for managing the labor and equipment of the assigned warehouse department, ensuring timely completion and quality of orders. Your work will align with our commitment to exceeding customer expectations. This role involves planning, organizing, and monitoring the receiving, storage, and distribution of items from suppliers or production shops. You will manage labor resources effectively while prioritizing orders with precision. The supervisor will train and supervise associates on assigned shifts.\nYOUR TASKS\nHire and ensure proper training of new employees for the department \nSupervise and coordinate activities of employees and monitor departmental functions on the floor \nReceive and transfer materials \nPerformance management of all employees (KPIs) \nDocument, update, and ensure procedures and quality processes are followed \nMaintain supplies and equipment levels for the department \nMonitor and adhere to customer requests and vendor-specific shipping requirements \nUpdate and maintain timekeeping and metrics in business systems, as they relate to WMS reporting \nEnsure that shift-end specific department procedures with all systems are completed and floor end-of-shift closeout is followed \nNew customer integration and migration testing \nLoad and unload trucks \nUnderstand traffic coordination \nContinuous involvement and support with departmental process improvements \nAbide by all company safety and hygiene regulations \nFollow and maintain 5S Program and guidelines \nPerform any additional tasks that may be assigned to ensure an efficient, safe, clean, and goal-oriented work environment \nQualifications\nHigh School Diploma or Equivalent \nPrevious experience in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environment \nKnowledge of picking, packing, and shipping tasks \nSAP or equivalent WMS systems experience \n3-5 years of Supervisory experience or equivalent work experience \nAbility to follow instructions, processes, and procedures \nStrong verbal and written communication skills \nStrong attention to detail, accuracy and analytical skills \nComputer literacy \nStrong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills \nExperience with inventory research \nTeam-oriented \nStrong Microsoft Office Suite skills, notably Excel \nAdditional Information\nMedical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, and Disability Pay.\n401(k) with company matching up to 6%.\nPaid Time Off, including paid holidays.\nFlexible Spending Accounts.\nVoluntary benefits such as legal and financial assistance, pet insurance, and more.\nEmployee Assistance Program.\nOngoing employee development opportunities including tuition reimbursement, scholarships, and training.\nCommuter benefits.\nEmployee engagement activities. \nDisclosure requirements pertaining to the collection of your personal data:\nResponsible for processing the information provided in your application is the company specified in the job advertisement, with its registered office as indicated.
