We are seeking candidates with strong hands-on SAP BTP development experience, including UI5, Fiori, and Automation (SAP Build).\nWe are specifically looking for candidates who must-have:\nMinimum 5+ years of recent and relevant experience in SAP BTP development. \nStrong understanding of BTP services relevant to application development and automation. \nProven experience as a software engineer with a strong focus on coding and technical implementation. \nHands-on expertise in SAP UI5, Fiori, Workflows, and SAP Build (Process Automation, Build Apps, Work Zone). \nProficiency in cloud development languages such as JavaScript, Node.js, TypeScript, and Python. \nExperience in developing and customizing Fiori apps using Fiori Elements, Smart Controls, and annotations (local and backend). \nDevelopment experience in SAP Build projects involving Business Processes, Automation, Decision, and Process Visibility. \nApplication integration experience with REST/OData APIs, SAP ECC, and SAP S/4HANA. \nStrong experience in configuring SAP Business Technology Platform and BTP services, with clear understanding of different runtimes (Cloud Foundry is a must). \nProficient with tools such as SAP Business Application Studio, Visual Studio Code, and SAP BTP Cockpit. \nKnowledge and hands-on experience in security using XSUAA, Connectivity, and Destination services. \nEnsure code quality, version control, and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub or GitLab, following DevOps best practices. \nGood understanding of SAP Cloud Connector. \nProblem-solving and team-oriented mindset with the ability to design, develop, and maintain high-quality technology solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams. \nQualifications\nExperience in building applications using SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) with Node.js, strong JavaScript/Node.js expertise, and Core Data Services (CDS). \nExperience in configuring SAP IAS/IPS with corporate identity providers (e.g., Okta). \nAbility to design and implement integrations between SAP and non-SAP systems using BTP Integration Suite, API Management, and Events. \nExposure to diverse business scenarios (A2A and B2B) with hands-on experience in working with major adapters such as SFTP, SOAP, REST, IDoc, OData, JDBC, and SuccessFactors. \nWe arenotseeking candidates who:\nAre primarily SAP BTP Developer or analysts without a strong focus on hands-on software development. \nHave limited or no recent experience in SAP BTP development. \nPossess experience limited to SAP BTP administration activities only. \nAre seeking a primarily consulting or advisory role rather than a development-focused role. \nAdditional Information\nIf you are ready to take your career to the next level and contribute to a dynamic and innovative company, we encourage you to apply to this US-based remote opportunity.
