You will be part of a new and quickly growing product & tech organisation, having the opportunity to shape our new teams as well as build the next revolutionary products.\nWhat you’ll actually be doing\nAs part of a cross-functional product team, you’ll take meaningful ownership across the full software lifecycle:\nBuild & scale core services: Design, build, and ship robust backend services, APIs, and business-critical workflows using modern C# and .NET.\nShape system architecture: Drive decisions on scalability, resilience, and performance for high-throughput distributed systems.\nTurn requirements into reality: Partner with product managers, designers, and domain experts to translate complex business needs into pragmatic technical solutions.\nElevate the team: Mentor colleagues, conduct thoughtful code reviews, and share knowledge to help the engineering group grow.\nOwn production health: Champion automated testing, clean documentation, and reliable deployment practices so we ship with confidence.\nQualifications\nWho you are:\nYou’re an experienced engineer who enjoys untangling complex problems and balances engineering excellence with pragmatic delivery:\nBackend depth: 8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, with deep expertise in C# and modern .NET.\nDistributed systems: Practical experience designing clean REST APIs, message queues, event-driven workflows, and asynchronous communication patterns.\n Data fluency: Strong background with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL), query optimization, and ORMs like EF Core or Dapper.\n Cloud & DevOps: Experience deploying and managing containerized services (Docker/Kubernetes) in cloud environments, ideally Microsoft Azure.\nObservability & troubleshooting: Skilled at diagnosing and resolving complex production issues using logs, metrics, and distributed tracing.\n Pragmatic tooling: Comfortable leveraging AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to move faster, while applying sharp judgment to ensure security and code quality.\nClear communication: Fluent in English, with the ability to explain technical trade-offs to both engineering peers and non-technical partners.\nBonus points: Prior experience with FinTech, banking, payments, or ledger/accounting systems is a strong plus.\nPlease note: you need to have EU citizenship or a valid work permit for Sweden.\nAdditional Information\nDisclosure requirements pertaining to the collection of your personal data:\nResponsible for processing the information provided in your application is the company specified in the job advertisement, with its registered office as indicated.
