Beryl is growing nationally, and now is the most exciting time to join our team.\nThe Role\nWe are looking for talented and versatile Redistribution Drivers to carry out the redistribution of our bikes and e-bikes. You will become a key component of the team by helping to\ndeliver Beryl’s bike-share scheme in coordination with Greater Manchester’s ‘Bee Network’ travel plan.\nOur Redistribution Drivers will be responsible for keeping the wheels moving on our bikes and e-bikes. You will need to be conscientious, flexible and have a can-do attitude. Most importantly, you will be making yourself invaluable to the scheme and the community. You will have a wonderful opportunity to work within one of the country’s most exciting e-bike/cycle scheme providers and take an integral role in our operations as one of our Redistribution Drivers.\nResponsibilities\nAd hoc, and scheduled maintenance, including but not limited to;\n- Carrying out battery swaps for our fleet of e-bikes across Greater Manchester.\n- Perform rebalancing tasks, which consist of collecting bikes in low-demand or over-supplied areas and placing them in optimal areas.\n- Search, find and collect bikes that need to be retrieved back to the warehouse.\n- Continuously evaluate our deployment spots and ensure our vehicles are deployed in a safe and compliant way whilst prioritising accessibility for our riders.\n- Responsible for the in-field quality of assets by identifying damaged bikes and parking docks, rebalancing wrongly parked bikes, etc.\n- Being able to perform quick repairs in the field.\n- Maintaining docking stations.\n- Ensuring batteries are charged, swapped and accounted for at our local depot.\n- Help to support continuous service improvements.\n- Provide general help and support to our customer base on-street in a polite and helpful manner.\nRequirements\n- Full and clean driving licence (you will require one days training so you can safely transport the e-bike batteries).\n- Experienced and comfortable driving a medium-sized van.\n- Interest and experience in mechanics.\n- Comfortable riding a bike.\n- Good local knowledge of Greater Manchester is advantageous.\n- You will be required to work an average of 40 hours per week over the year period based on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, Monday to Sunday including a 60-minute paid break per day, with a minimum of 10 hours per day, between 7am and 8pm.\nWhat we offer in return\nThe chance to build the business and help Beryl on our journey to become one of the biggest micromobility operators in the world.\nEmployer pension contributions\nPaid sick leave\nEnhanced parental leave\nBirthdays off\nEmployee assistance program\nAnnual learning and development budget\nCycle to work scheme - discounted bikes & accessories\nTech scheme - discounted technology and home products\nFree access to Beryl's bikes in multiple locations\nPaid volunteer days\nMy Healthy Advantage App for wellbeing support\nDiversity\nAt Beryl, we are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
